QEEP Analysis: Security, Performance, and Power Consumption

Quantropi Inc. recently released its inaugural “QEEP™ benchmark testing report”. This report, QEEP Analysis: Security, Performance, and Power Consumption is based on original research conducted by Quantropi’s Chief Science Officer Dr. Yurang (Randy) Kuang and Dr. Eslam G. Abdallah, a Postdoctoral Fellow in Carleton University.

In this report, Quantropi presents a sample implementation of their patented QEEP™ (Quantum Entropy Expansion and Propagation) technology. QEEP™ is compared with current industry-standard cryptographic algorithms, AES and AES-NI, and analyzed from three key perspectives: i) security, ii) performance, and iii) power consumption.

The results show that QEEP™ has promising potential in solving the key distribution challenge in a post-quantum world. In particular, passing randomness benchmark testing, fast encoding/decoding, and overall power consumption savings.
