Post quantum solution for IoT secure root of trust, firmware authentication, integrity and safety, software lifecycle update
Quantropi Inc., today announced the launch of uLoadXLQ Quantum Secure Boot Loader and software signing solution for IoT platforms, a major QiSpace™ design win. Developed in partnership with leading IoT security solution provider Cypherbridge Systems, the integrated solution raises the bar for IoT security and offers significant benefits for the IoT market.
Built on the industry proven Cypherbridge Systems uLoadXL product family, uLoadXLQ integrates Quantropi’s QiSpace™ MASQ, a lightweight post-quantum digital signature algorithm featuring small signatures and fast verification, and QiSpace™ SEQUR to generate and distribute quantum random numbers for true random cryptographic keys. uLoadXLQ is uniquely engineered for high performance in embedded systems with limited compute and memory resources.
“Critical components of today’s digital economy rely on connected devices, yet the encryption used for verification of genuine code and secure boot and installation is vulnerable to future quantum computing attacks,” said James Nguyen, CEO of Quantropi. “With uLoadXLQ, we are offering the IoT market a quick and cost-effective upgrade path to a secure post quantum future.”
“The uLoadXLQ quantum secure boot loader offers the smallest signature footprint of any NIST post-quantum algorithm, and the fastest combined sign and verify performance,” said Steve DeLaney, President of Cypherbridge Systems. “This, in conjunction with the strongest quantum random cryptographic keys, makes uLoadXLQ truly quantum secure, and the perfect upgrade for any connected machine or device.”
Quantropi will be demonstrating uLoadXLQ quantum secure boot loader live on the STMicroelectronics STM32 family of 32-bit ARM Cortex MCUs at RSA Conference 2023, April 24-27 in San Francisco, USA. Booth #5200 within the North Expo.
